This simple unit provides safe, convenient, and attractive countertop storage for three Cuisinart blades and three cutting disks. It’s designed to be used as stand-alone storage or side by side with Cuisinart’s supplemental disk holder. Cuisinart Blade and Disc Holder

When I received it the lock was broken. Instead of going through the hassle of returning it, I removed two screws, dis-assembled the lock mechanism and now keep the holder on the top shelf in my cupboard.
if you need a place to store discs etc, this will do it. however as noted by others the latch is useless and breaks easily. it works only because it has a place for everything and is better than putting sharp and loose items in a box or a drawer. definitely NOT good with children around.
We understood this to be universally applicable, but it must work only for one model. It did not work for the blades and discs of our model, so we had to return it.
This holder goes so perfectly with my Cuisinart that it should really be included with the machine, instead of sold as an optional accessory. The holder is designed to allow the blades or discs to finish drying if you put them in damp and it even hold the attachment assembly. If you have or are in the process of buying a Cuisinart, I highly recommend picking one of these up.
This was just what I needed it does a fine job of keeping the blades safe and sharp
