The core is completely clad in stainless steel so, like the rest of the pot, the bottom resists corrosion and discoloring and cleans up easily. Thick rolled rims add durability and make it possible to pour from the pan without dripping. Because the pan comes with a domed lid that self-bastes foods it can be used for braising on the stovetop or in the oven. (The handles are oven-safe to 350 degrees F and stay cool on the stovetop.) Farberware Classic 4-Quart Covered Saucepot
I have used this pot for over 30 years and it still looks like new. I use it as a soup pot, sauce pot, rice cooker, an everything pot. The size is just right. I just recently purchased one for my daughter. Other pots will come and go but the Faberware Classic never will.
i priced this item in stores and on websites but this was the best deal. very happy!
This is e great little soup pot or a nice large potato or pasta pot. It has proven to be a real workhorse. It cleans really well. The only con are the handles they are plastic. It would make a nice affordable gift for any size family.
the farberware cooking pot is wonderful–4qt.is just right size for cooking potatoes,etc,,affordable and well worthnthe miney.I have one 20yrs,old that is still super.
This is like a shiny new toy! It is a beautiful pot, the size I need for cooking vegetables, large enough so the potatoes or rice won’t boil over.
I have several other Farberware utinsils, many are my good old friends, I am happy to say the quality in the new ones are just as fine as those from 25 years ago. This is a great product. Buy it, you won’t be sorry. Rita
