Multiple layers of silicone bristles tackle all tasks. Gaps in the center bristles hold liquid as you transfer from bowl to pastry surface, and tapered outer bristles let you brush delicate pastry with ease. Oxo Good Grips Silicone Pastry Brush

This small, easy to use brush works well for sauces and melted butter. I like the small size, since my kitchen space is limited.
Finally a brush that can be used around heat, works and can be cleaned well. It doesn’t hold as much liquid (butter, glaze, sauce) as I would like, so I gave it four stars-but it is the best silicone brush I’ve found so far. I’m fed up with the bristle brushes that always bend out of shape, don’t clean well and melt if used on anything hot.
This pastry brush is fabulous! It holds the sauce really well and is very easy to clean.
This is a great silicone brush that cleans up nicely in the dishwasher and holds liquids really well. I use this to brush melted butter on my Villa ware waffle iron. I want to buy some larger sizes as well.
I love this brush. I bought it for pastry making, but my husband had another idea. He was grilling a few weeks back and needed to brush the sauce on the chicken. He found the brush and used it. Of course I won’t be using this brush for pastries anymore (already purchased a second one), BUT!!! Had this been a regular bristled brush, I would have to thrown it out. But this SILICONE brush was so easy to wash! I simply put it in the dishwasher (try doing it with a bristled brush…) and it came out wonderful and clean. It is now in my husband’s grilling drawer as one of his invaluable grilling accessories. Thanks OXO!
