Waring Pro WMK300A Professional Stainless-Steel Belgian Waffle Maker

Yep… makes the best waffles… delicious, easy to clean.. worth the price. Amazon shipped it and it was in perfect condition. When you start to get it out of the manufacturer’s box, make sure you are careful because the little green measuring cup could fly across the room. Also, I set my setting a little over five to get the crispier crust/fluffy inside.
Use Pam High Heat spray.
Will buy this again. The fold-away handle is awesome. Make sure you purchase the WMK300A versus the WMK300 (like they sell at Costco). Amazon has the newest model. You cannot beat Amazon’s price and shipping!!!
Never used thhe waffle iron because it was apparently damaged (CRACKED PLASTIC HOUSING) during shipping. Return was easy
We have had ours for less than a year and it has seen light use. Perhaps a half dozen perfect waffles every month or two. Our office decided to do a waffle breakfast so I took the Waring Pro to work to strut its stuff.
The breakfast crowd numbered around fourteen. Although three waffle irons were going the “chef” decided to use the Waring exclusively because of the superior waffles it was turning out. This lasted until the machine had enough and actually had a partial meltdown. The machine was not mistreated other than put in continuous use on medium setting for probably thirty minutes to an hour if that can be considered mistreating.
For light home use I can recommend the Waring. For heavier applications beware. For true “professional” applications forget it and realized the professional (pro) in its name is for marketing purposes only. Professional waffle irons are 10X the price.
Remember you get what you pay for.
On that note I ordered a KitchenAid pro line waffle maker today.
Cheers,

I am now on my second Waring Pro waffle maker, and like my first one it has stopped working after about 2 weeks. I’m not sure what the issue is, but for no reason the heating element just stops working. When it works it does make a good waffle, but I am tired of returning this one so it’s time to try a different brand.
Nice product, easy to use and the automatic notification that the waffle is done works as advertised. Cleans up easily and is small enough to store in the smallest of kitchens, like ours.
